Love of Coffee.

Like most great things in life there is a story…

I was in my early 20’s working a job far away from home. I commuted 3 hours one way, to make ends meet for my family. I was working construction, and had put on some weight from the commuting. My dad and I went for coffee just about every day.(to me at the time was a sugar bomb, also known as a Frapp…)

So we headed to the local coffee shop, and my dad noticed my weight gain and said that he would buy… but only what he was having… Black Iced Coffee. Knowing I needed a change and being low on cash with payday a few days away, I took him up on his offer. This was one of the first times I experienced my coffee straight, and it wasn’t love at first sight. This became our ritual in the morning. Over a very short period of time(and quite a few coffee shops later), I began to develop a taste for it. Having tried coffee many ways at this point… I wanted to learn more.

My Dad was getting rid of his old espresso machine, and I quickly jumped at the chance to own my first espresso machine. I began to play with the machine, and grinds, not knowing what I was doing. I didn’t have anything but a blade grinder… (some of you may be cringing, I know I am) YouTube, and what not, wasn’t really a thing, there were not videos and resources like today.

So I began my Journey into Coffee…There has always been a drive in me for the finer things in life, and sharing those things with the people around me. Fast forward many years, and you come to this point… A Micro Roastery with high quality coffee, so i can share my passion for quality coffee with you all, and bring something truly unique to the Valley.
